What to Expect on a Segway Tour

The simple answer is a very fun glide with beautiful scenery and historic places! First you'll meet your tour guide at your pick up location and pick up your helmet (or you can bring your own). You'll get training one at a time on the Segway PT and then get a chance to practice your skills (trust is the key). This introductory training time may take 10 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the group. Then you'll be off for your Sheboygan Segway adventure to take in the history and beauty of Wisconsin.

What is the maximum number of people on a tour?

9, unless one group is booking together.

What should I wear?

Comfortable shoes. Keep in mind it will be cooler on the Segway.

Do I have to wear a helmet?

You will be provided a helmet or may bring your own.

What happens if it rains?

They provide ponchos, but may cancel with refund or reschedule.

Can I take pictures during the tour?

Yes! Your guide also takes complimentary pictures and you will receive a link following the tour.

Do I need to make reservations in advance?

Yes. The Segways are transported to the pick up location based on advance reservations.

Are their age restrictions?

Riders must be at least close to 11 years of age. An adult or guardian must accompany children under 18.

Are there weight restrictions?

There are no weight restrictions, but riders must be comfortable on their feet and not have issues climbing stairs without assistance. Participants should way at least 70 pounds.

Is the tour suitable for pregnant women?

No, pregnant women are not allowed to ride on the Segway PT for safety reasons.
