Savor the flavors, sights, and sounds of Sheboygan, Wisconsin's vibrant culinary scene at 8th Streatery every Tuesday during the summer with live music and local restaurants near Blue Harbor Resort.

The JMKAC Levitt AMP Music Series is held Thursdays on the City Green (with the exception of Wednesday, July 3^rd) as well as during the Midsummer Festival of the Arts. There will be live music, free art-making, food trucks, and a beverage tent. Free to the public.

WFRV’s Local 5 Live out of Green Bay will be broadcasting from sites across Northeast Wisconsin this summer as part of their Our Town series, presented by Cellcom, and Lisa Malak, Millaine Wells, and Jordan Lamers will host their show live from Blue Harbor Resort on July 26^th, starting at 9 a.m.

The public is encouraged to RSVP in advance to secure a seat on the Lakeside Terrace Lawn behind Blue Harbor Resort’s Conference Center to watch the broadcast live with Lake Michigan views. On the day of the broadcast, guests can begin arriving at 8:00 a.m. to find a seat, grab some snacks or mimosa (for those over the age of 21), visit the bar, and register for prizes from WFRV. In addition, those who RSVP in advance and attend the broadcast will go into a drawing to win an overnight stay at Blue Harbor Resort.

Live music during the show will be provided by Frank Hermans and feature a water and beach theme. Additional Sheboygan County businesses to be featured include Wisconsin Plastic Products, Holler n Hills Bar n Grill, Bourbon Street Pub & Grill, Faye’s Pizza, The GameBoard, and 3 Sheeps Brewing Company.

Guests attending the live show can park in the Conference Center parking lot, enter through the main Conference Center doors, and follow the signs around to the Lakeside Terrace. In the event of inclement weather on the day of the live broadcast, the live show will be broadcast inside the Conference Center in Lakeside Terrace. NOS Energy TrackBattle Time Attack Series, presenting the fastest time attack cars in North America in a battle for lap time supremacy.

GRIDLIFE Touring Cup (GLTC) The fastest growing Club Race series in the country returns to Road America with FOUR Races Friday and Saturday. Each of the four sprints will present over 50 cars in this incredibly diverse class of custom built touring cars.

DRIFTING comes to Road America presenting nearly 100 drift cars on two tracks, presenting both on the Motoplex as well as a special high speed session on the main circuit. 

GRIDLIFE RUSH SR This fast growing racing series presents the spec Rush SR Sports Racer in a Flat out Driver VS Driver battle for 4 Races throughout the weekend.

Sunday, take your own car out on the track in our HPDE or Sunday Driver program where you can get easy track instruction and guided lead follow laps on the historic turns of Road America.

OFF TRACK FEATURES

AFTERGRID Music festival, The full GRIDLIFE festival experience finally comes to Road America featuring main stage headliners Saturday night along with pop up music experiences throughout the track all weekend long.

The GRIDLIFE Concours / Showcase brings the best builds right to the heart of the paddock. Hand picked feature cars along with show categories for every build.

Between the races, hang out in the GRIDLIFE Arcade, Jump in on the Disc Golf tournament or just cruise around the track and vibe out with friends new and old.

North America’s premier sportscar series returns to America’s National Park of Speed, bringing several familiar names for race fans and a handful of down-to-the-wire battles. IMSA races feature elite sportscars from nearly 20 different manufacturers, including Mercedes, Ferrari, Chevrolet, and Aston Martin. The skill of the drivers, paired with advanced automotive technology, creates a high-stakes, adrenaline-fueled race weekend you do not want to miss. 

Brat Days is back in Sheboygan with free admission and free music in Kiwanis Park! The park is open 4pm to 11:30pm on Friday and 11am-11:30pm on Saturday after the 9am Brat Days Parade in Downtown Sheboygan. Inside the park, Brat Days is complete with a marketplace, amusement rides, memorabilia tent, family area, and of course live music on the Johnsonville Main Stage and plenty of food and drinks at the Sheboygan Jaycees Main Food and Soda Stand. With limited parking at Kiwanis park, a shuttle service is available both days.

It’s BACK! The Coho Derby is returning to Deland Park this August with three days of bands, fishing, family fun, and big fish on display.

Speed seekers, water enthusiasts, and families will all enjoy this inaugural competition and exhibition weekend in Sheboygan, WI on the pristine waters of Lake Michigan right in front of Blue Harbor Resort. Bring your own chairs or blankets, food and drinks for watching the races from one of the public viewing areas. You will also find food trucks stationed in various spots near the viewing areas.

Blending his background in jazz with the sounds of indigenous music from around the globe, Ryan Meisel’s “Spiritual Currents” is a presentation of music that blurs the lines between performance, meditation, and soulful exploration. Ryan’s music honors his deep spiritual connection to the earth and nature while providing a context for his personal expression through organic sound. Come for the concert; stay for the drumming circle.

The Fanatec GT World Challenge America headlines an all-sportscar weekend at Road America August 16-18, 2024. In addition, the event will feature rounds for GT America powered by AWS, the Toyota Gazoo Racing North America GR Cup Series, Pirelli GT4 America, and TC America powered by Skip Barber. This weekend of thrilling sportscar racing will bring exotic GT3, GT4, and Touring Car machinery from global luxury auto brands like Acura, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche to America’s National Park of Speed in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. 

These performance racing machines will take to the popular 4-mile, 14-turn road race circuit as part of a worldwide racing series spanning Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. The SRO GT World Challenge at Road America will showcase two 90-minute races featuring full-service pit stops, driver changes, and non-stop excitement on Saturday and Sunday.

Master naturalist instructor Jim Buchholz and his wife Kathy will lead a hike along the Woodland Dunes Trail to experience what can be heard and “seen” in the dark of the night. Family-friendly hike: children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring insect repellent and wear comfortable shoes. No pets allowed.

The Pudgie Pie Iron Guy will be back to share the fun of cooking over a campfire with a pie iron. Looking for ideas to take your campfire cooking to the next level? Try your hand at creating tasty treats while learning tips from a pro. Jon provides the gear and food; you put it together! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

We will be hosting a food and beverage discovery trail throughout Blue Harbor Resort starting and ending in Lakeside Terrace on the lake-facing side of our conference center. Guests can park in the Conference Center parking lot, use the main covered entrance, and follow the signs to the Lakeside Terrace. A cash bar will be available upon arrival and we’ll end with a gourmet s’mores bar and bonfire on the beach, weather permitting.

With a rich history and an unwavering commitment to preserving the legacy of vintage racing, this three-day racing spectacle promises to captivate enthusiasts and newcomers alike. Over 300 meticulously restored vintage and historic race cars, spanning 11 racing classes, will grace the iconic Road America track, presenting a mesmerizing journey through automotive history. From the graceful curves of classic sports cars to the raw power of muscle machines, every era and every passion will be showcased.

A unique highlight of the event is the open-access paddock, inviting spectators to immerse themselves in the world of vintage racing. This is a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with these magnificent racing machines, each prepared to era specifications, and witness the dedication and craftsmanship of maintaining these automotive treasures.

Dean Simmons followed the footsteps of his father, uncle and grandfather to a life of performing country music. At seven years old, Dean was strumming his guitar with his father’s band. Later, after playing lead guitar for several projects, he formed the Dean Simmons Band performing nightclubs, fairs and festivals and honky-tonks all over the Pacific Northwest. They had the honor of performing for our military at bases all over the Far East, the Caribbean, the South Pacific as well as the US.

Dean began his career as a Garth Brooks tribute artist in 1994. In ‘96, producer John Stuart discovered and hired him to perform in the world famous "Legends in Concert" in Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Atlantic City, and several tours and one-night performances throughout the USA and Canada. Dean is still the only "Garth" on Legends' roster and still performs in many of the Legends shows.

Dean Simmons now celebrates 23 years of giving audiences across the country the a live Garth Brooks experience that is performed with respect and amazing accuracy. His shows are a real sincere tribute Garth Brooks - the man and his music.

Austin Healey Conclave 2024 will take place at Road America in historic Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Indulge in a week filled with scenic rides, rallies, car shows, entertainment, and much more with your headquarters at Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI.

The Harbor Centre's River Fest is a one-day festival along the Riverfront Drive boardwalk in Sheboygan, WI. Sheboygan residents and visitors of all ages are invited to explore our Harbor Center businesses’ products and services through engaging and interactive activities and experiences at booths, kids tent, and on the main stage, all along the Sheboygan River. Plan on a day filled with live music, local food, and family fun!

Special activities 9am-1pm (Discovery Center open until 4pm)

Celebrate the fall harvest season at Farm Wisconsin as you wade in to a mock cranberry bog, meet a real queen [honey] bee, and get lost in a corn maze. Guests of all ages will enjoy the antique tractor display outside and marvel at the modern technology used to harvest today’s food inside the discovery center. Special guest, Wisconsin’s 77^th Alice in Dairyland will also make an appearance at the event.

The Sports Car Club of America returns to Road America in 2024 and 2025 for the 61st and 62nd running of the annual SCCA National Championship Runoffs, a gathering where the top SCCA racers in the country go head-to-head and prove who is best. Throughout its 50+ year history, the Runoffs have been held at legendary tracks. It is an event that caps the SCCA Road Racing program each year and has evolved into what is widely known as the pinnacle of U.S. amateur road racing.

Join us for German food, craft beer, music, raffles, and fun! The Mayor’s International Committee (MIC) is hosting the annual Esslingen Fest to celebrate our Sister City relationship with Esslingen, Germany. The MIC is a group of Sheboygan residents appointed by the Mayor of Sheboygan, empowered to represent and further the City’s commitment to understanding and friendship between the Sister Cities and the City of Sheboygan.

Fall Candlelight Hike:  Saturday, October 12 from 6:30 – 8:30pm

Listen to the autumn night sounds as you enjoy a self-guided walk on torch-lit trails. After your hike, enjoy entertainment and activities for all ages around the campfire. Start and finish at the indoor shelter above parking lot P7.

The season opens with Beethoven's Pastorale Symphony, a delightful promenade through the Viennese countryside, alongside the world premiere of Jacob Bancks' The Healing Machine, an SSO commission drawing inspiration from the Kohler Art Preserve's treasures.
