Road America

Surrounded by the rolling hills of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine, Road America is a four-mile road course considered by the motorsports community as not only the best in North America, but also one of the world’s premier race circuits featuring MotoAmerica Superbikes, the Verizon IndyCar Series, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and the NASCAR XFINITY Series, plus several SCCA and vintage events including cars and motorcycles from various eras of racing.

Road America is a year-round venue just 23 minutes from Blue Harbor Resort with unique activities for visitors to the Sheboygan area. Over 500 events are held annually at Road America, often running multiple activities on the same day incorporating the four-mile track, the interior Road America Motorplex, and the beautiful grounds surrounding the facility.

More than just a day at the races, families of at least four can test their skills with this technology-driven scavenger hunt. The Geocaching Adventure at Road America includes GPS instruction and tasks to locate assigned treasures using golf carts to retrieve as many caches as possible!

For an unforgettable journey, the Off-Road Driving Experience features a trail ride through Road America's 640-acre property featuring a wide variety of wooded terrain full of hills, large rocks, logs, and weather permitting, mud! This ride lasts over two hours and is held rain or shine, so dress for your day.

For a fun outdoor adventure for the whole family, Road America's 18-hole Disc Golf course is open Mondays and Wednesdays 6-8pm, May through September. The course is also open to any ticket purchaser during public events.

For the kid-at-heart, ages 14 and up, try your hand at karting at Road America! Enjoy thrilling rides around the Motorplex track reaching speeds up to 40 mph. Open during select race weekends, event admission is required in addition to public karting fee.

Road America also hosts 4 Miles of Fitness every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm, starting in May and running until end of September (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm in September). From cross country trails, to clearly marked service roads around Road America’s picturesque 640-acre facility, and even the legendary 4-mile, 14 turn road racing surface itself — anyone interested in bicycling, walking, or running can enjoy all the facility has to offer in a safe environment free of traffic hassles and the usual neighborhood distractions.
