Guests can show their Halloween flare as they trick or treat through the haunted, Boo Harbor Shipwreck Trail, and afterwards enjoy face painting, carnival games and prizes. Families can stop in Sweetshop Landing confectionery café, where sweet treats and “witch’s brew” will be served. Those looking for a relaxing treat can venture downstairs to Elements – an Aveda Concept Spa, where Halloween nail art will be featured. Inside Crew Club, the resort’s craft and activity room, children can make Halloween crafts and decorate their own trick or treat bag for the Boo Harbor Shipwreck Trail. Every evening, Crew Club will provide thrills and chills during “Spooktacular Storytime” in the Grand Lobby. The atmosphere will be fun, safe and “just a boo bit scary.” A Scarecrow Building Contest will take place Saturday, October 15, 22 and 29. Children can create their own Halloween scarecrow, and one lucky winner will be selected each week to receive a certificate for $100 off a future stay at Blue Harbor Resort. A $15 entry fee will be donated to the American Red Cross for the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. A Spooky Scavenger Hunt will take families into the unknown from 2 p.m. – 5p.m. on October 22. Families can explore Blue Harbor Resort while searching for answers to the scavenger hunt with the chance to win a free night stay.
Guests are encouraged to pack their Halloween costumes in addition to their swimsuits as they “soak their bones” at Sheboygan’s premier indoor waterpark resort. On October 29 from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., a section of the parking lot will convert into a petting zoo, where pony rides will be featured. Later that night, families can watch as a duck representing their room number zooms down one of the waterpark slides during the Boo Harbor Duck Race for the chance to win a free night stay for a future visit.
